Bangalore Club

Established in 1868 as the Bangalore United Service (BUS) Club, modelled along the lines of the military and ‘Gentlemen’s Clubs’ in London, the club occupies a colonial Residency-style building and is spread over an eleven-acre campus. Renamed ‘Bangalore Club’ in 1946 on the eve of India’s independence, it continues to preserve its old-world charm. +
