The Library, now more than a centenary old, was called "The Dovecot":probably
because it was the only place where ladies were allowed in earlier years !Completely
refurbished in a modern style, it can hold its own among the best libraries in the city. It
boasts of a wide collection of fiction, non-fiction, children's books, educational volumes,
magazines both foreign and Indian, and a variety of newspapers in easy to access
racks.
