Dear Fellow Member,

SUB: 142^NDANNUAL GENERAL MEETING HELD ON 27^th June 2010

My greetings to all of you. I wish to place on record my sincere thanks for reposing faith in me by nominating me as Interim President to administer the Club till the elections are held for the General Committee. You would appreciate the circumstances under which I have accepted this responsibility and I wish to convene the EGM and the elections at the earliest, after receiving the report of the Enquiry Committee.

The Interim Committee and myself are fully aware that we have been directed by the General Body to manage the day to day affairs of the Club. While the routine functioning and ongoing projects will continue, this Committee will not undertake any new project / arrange any event during this interim period.

As directed by the General Body, we pledge our whole hearted support to the independent Enquiry Committee appointed by the General Body in completing their task at the shortest possible time. We wish to inform you that Mr. Haji Jaffer (H-50), one of the members nominated to the Enquiry Committee has declined to be part of the Enquiry Committee due to his personal reasons.

As you could understand from the minutes of 142^nd Annual General Meeting enclosed with this letter, the terms of reference also have been spelt out in the General Body meeting. We have made our earnest request to the Enquiry Committee to commence their enquiry at the earliest.
